The Tennessee Titans were the best 6-11 team in the NFL in 2023-24. No, it’s not really a compliment. I’m just not sure if they’re going to be able to even say that next year. The San Diego…sorry, LOS ANGELES Chargers finished the 2023-2024 NFL season at 5-12 for the “honor” of being the fifth worst team in the league. They are also one of four teams that finish in the bottom five worst records to make a Head Coach change by hiring former Michigan Wolverines (and former San Francisco 49ers) Head Coach, Jim Harbaugh. The Arizona Cardinals finished the 2023-24 season as the best 4-13 team in the league! Congratulations! You now have the fourth pick in the NFL draft. To be fair, the Cardinals were without their starting quarterback, Kyler Murry for half of the season, AND they were tied with the New England Patriots for the ninth most difficult schedule. They can also give themselves a ribbon (like a home-made “participation” type ribbon) that says that they beat three playoff teams last year by defeating the Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Philadelphia Eagles. The New England Patriots finished the 2023-24 season with the same record (4-13) as the Washington Commanders and the Arizona Cardinals. Due to tiebreakers, they have been deemed as the third worst team in the NFL and will have the third pick in this April’s NFL Draft. Moving on to the team that had the second worst record of the 2023-24 season; the Washington Commanders, who finished 4-13 and lost the last eight games of the season. To add salt to the wound, the Commanders won only one game at home this last year, giving their fans just about nothing to cheer for.
