The National Football League has slowly been releasing a handful of “special” gametime information for the 2025 season. On Wednesday, May 14th at 8pm EST the NFL will perform their grand unveiling of the entire 2025-26 season. We are roughly 24 hours away from finding out how the Baltimore Ravens schedule has been “set in stone” (with the possibilities of a few TBDs at the end of the year, of course). However, this is what we know so far:
Within the 2025 17-game schedule, the Ravens will host nine games at M&T Bank Stadium, and will be on the road for the other eight. You have to love getting home field advantage! Even better is that NONE of those road games will be played outside of the United States. In fact, Baltimore has the third fewest miles to travel to play their Away Games this year (10,647 miles); a factor that should also play in their favor to another Division Championship.
The Ravens opponents at home are as follows: Cleveland Browns (welcome back Joe Flacco), Cincinnati Bengals, Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Jets, New England Patriots, Houston Texans, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Rams. Baltimore will travel to play their AFC Division Rivals Browns, Bengals, and Steelers, as well as the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers, and Minnesota Vikings (which I will be attending).
Strength of Schedule
Based on the 2024 winning percentages of their opponents; a combined record of 154-135 (.533), the Ravens face the 9th most difficult strength of schedule in 2025. Does this matter? Not really. Baltimore had the 2nd toughest strength of schedule last season based on 2023 records, and they still finished 12-5 in 2024 and won the AFC North. The Ravens’ division rivals have an equally daunting task ahead of them this year. Pittsburgh has the 10th most difficult schedule, facing teams with a .526 winning percent from 2024. Cleveland comes in at 13th, and Cincinnati is 14th. The AFC Champion Kansas City Chiefs are tied for 11th, facing opponents with a combined 151-138 record from 2024.
The Baltimore Ravens had an outstanding eight Prime-Time games in 2024 including Week One’s NFL Season Opener in Kansas City on Thursday Night Football, and during Week 17 at the Houston Texans on Christmas Day. How many Prime-Time games will the Ravens have this year? One game that we know for certain that they will NOT be playing in is against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week One. KC will be playing the Los Angeles Chargers in Sao Paulo, Brazil to open their 2025 season.
Bye Bye Bye
Another question that will be answered this upcoming Wednesday night is when the Ravens will have their Bye Week in 2025. The last two seasons Baltimore had late Bye Weeks, which can be taxing on players. However, the Ravens were resilient going 8-1 combined in 2023 and 2024 after getting their much-needed weeks off. Head Coach, John Harbaugh, has an NFL-best 14-3 record after the Bye week in his 17 seasons in Baltimore. In fact, Coach Harbaugh has the “W” in eight of the last nine post-Bye Week games, including the last four. The one loss in that nine-year time period came at the hands of the Steelers in 2020. If only Harbs’ had a better play-challenge record (55 for 131) to match the post-Bye Week performance.
Keep this in mind, Ravens Flock: no matter what the schedule looks likes for Baltimore this year, it can’t possibly be any worse than playing three games in 11 days like they did in 2024.
