Welcome to Week Six in the NFL! This last Sunday we saw the only two undefeated teams (San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles) LOSE to two teams that really had no business even keeping those games close. This has not been the way that the Minnesota Vikings envisioned their season starting out after going 14-3 in 2022. The writing, however, WAS on the wall that this season would be significantly worse. Before the 2023 season started, I projected that the Vikings would go 7-10 and finish third in the NFC North for multiple reasons. First was the fact that they had another poor offseason. Last week on Thursday Night Football we saw the Detroit Lions at the Green Bay Packers. This was a really exciting and “telling” game of how the NFC North will most likely shake out at the end of the season.
